Toyota bZ3X SUV deliveries in China exceed 10000 units
Since its launch on March 16, Toyota has showcased the bZ3X and the newly unveiled bZ7. Toyota bZ3X has delivered more than 10,000 units in total, with another 12,000 orders pending. This initial success highlights Toyota's aggressive push into the Chinese electric vehicle market through deepening localization and a new development model.
The bZ3X is a compact electric SUV based on the e-TNGA platform. The car is 4,645 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, 1,625 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. It offers two power options: front-wheel drive (150 kW) and dual-motor all-wheel drive (80 kW + 150 kW). Equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries, the CLTC range is 500 km and 600 km respectively. Interior features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a Snapdragon 8155 chip, a panoramic glass sunroof, and L2+ assisted driving powered by Momenta.

Toyota has also reorganized its business in China, integrating it under a unified "One R&D" framework, integrating FAW Toyota, GAC Toyota, BYD Toyota, and Changshu R&D Center.
The development of the bZ3X reflects this shift, inspired by research into the lifestyles and expectations of young Chinese families. At the same time, the bZ7 also became the first joint venture sedan equipped with Huawei's Hongmeng operating system.
Toyota claims that instead of "chasing speed", it is better to adopt a cautious promotion strategy that prioritizes safety and product maturity to build long-term trust among consumers. This is in line with its philosophy of providing durable, high-quality cars even in the rapidly developing electric vehicle field.
